Dan began his building career on the Gold Coast in 1995 initially starting in the gyprock industry and working his way up. He obtained his builder’s licence in 2006 and continued in the trade covering residential and commercial projects.
Life took a swerve with a short term building contract in QLD’s South West region. This “short term” job then led to over eight years as a station hand working in cattle, sheep, hay and grain industries.
Living and working on the land, far from town requires a certain resourcefulness; Dan had lots of opportunities to work on jobs that would normally be handled by a specialised tradesperson.
Together, Dan and his wife, Michelle, have renovated and built their own homes several times over.
Make sure you visit our gallery to see some examples of Dan’s projects.
With his focus on integrity, honesty and “getting a job done right” you are assured of an excellent finish with whatever job you ask Dan to undertake.
As a family owned and operated business, we believe in personal service:
- Dan will answer the phone
- Dan will provide you with an estimate
- Dan will carry out the work
Not only that, if parts of your project (electrical, plumbing) extend beyond the limits of Dan’s licence or capabilities, he can also coordinate these trades.
2019 was the beginning of a new chapter in Gympie, combining our family’s love of the rural lifestyle and decades of Dan’s experience in construction, maintenance and rural service.
We have made Gympie our home and have settled on a rural property only 10mins from town. In our "spare" time we run our own sheep and cattle and are happy to assist with any rural work you may need.
